Start with the basic tapered men's cut: #2 and #3 clipper cut on sides and back. The crown is graduated layers; 1 inch at the top down to 4 inches at the fringe.
I worked in a nickel-sized amount of Redken Aerate, then blow dried it with my head hanging upside down while I raked my fingers through it. I finished with a 2" round brush, just to bend the ends.
Then I used a pea-sized amount of Redken Rewind to push the sides up and the top back, making sure to make it through all the layers. Then I applies 4 coats of Bed Head Hard Head hairspray, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. I finished with a spritz of shine spray.
